Allegan Area ESA Tech Center

As part of Allegan Area ESA’s 2022-27 Strategic Plan to continue their ability to provide access to quality education to all students, Pure Architects was engaged to design their new Auto Tech building at their Tech Center.

This new build features two auto workshops with associated classrooms and communal storage space for tools and equipment.

Students will have multiple hands-on learning opportunities through various tools, including the hydraulic and drive-on alignment lifts that are featured in the workshops.
One of the classrooms will also have its own hydraulic lift with the ability to cast under vehicle repair instruction to monitors within the classroom via body cameras.

There’s a total of six hydraulic lifts.
Workshops have heated slabs to create even heat distribution across the space which allows moisture to evaporate from the floor and increase the thermal comfort in the learning environment.
“Working in partnership with Pure Architects on our new Auto Tech building has been a wonderful experience. The attention to detail that the Pure team has brought has allowed us to have a state of art facility for our students and community to use for years to come.”
